Beautiful New Mexico

So the pictures have been taking a lot of space. Not that the space is bad. However, the posts scoll by and after a while it might seem as if endless supply of pictures is being pasted. In order to save time and to shake things up a little, I will post some pictures in a smaller size. Does this format seem better?

The trip was on Aug. 10th, 2008.

What is the reason for these corridors? Does anyone know? Why are these corridors there? Why isn’t the posted speed limit sufficient? These aren’t always near a town either.

Leaving Roswell, Headed to Phoenix

More pictures on the way. Leaving Roswell you see Ruidoso, Alamagordo, etc…. in New Mexico. Those are really beautiful places. Worth watching. Definitely worth stopping in and looking around. Didn’t have time on this trip to stop on local towns.

I wanted to reach Phoenix before 5pm to walk around and take pictures and see the place.

Anyway these are more pictures….

Roswell, New Mexico!

So what is Roswell like? It’s really a small town. Sign says population is 50,000 but seems small. It’s just got one main road. The lady at the hotel said the Main St. is their main street and anything off of that road is just suburbs. Which she said might be nicer but also less “advanced” as the Main St. Looks like AnyTown, USA.

More Posts

It’s been a while since some posts were made. So I thought I’d make some updates and post some pictures. Basically, after getting in town on Monday it just got so busy. Had a lot of fatigue the first day. Headache too. The next day was busy just settling in with my uncle. Then Wednesday had to start working. Now the weekend is the first chance I’ve gotten to sit down and find picture to post. Then had to crop them and make them smaller in size and put effects like shadow.

So enjoy the pictures….

Updates

So no updates for a while.

Well it’s been a busy few days. Started from Phoenix, AZ on Sunday around 10:30 or so. Reached Redlands, CA about 4:00p PST. So been tired and busy since. Will update more and post pictures.

Roswell, NM

So Roswell is pretty much another anytown, USA. Other than little green men painted on every other thing, it’s just another rundown midwest like town. It may not be midwest but sure looks it. US380 was a big disapointment to drive on. It is small and boring and dull. Fun but still boring. Put more wear and tear on the tires driving on some odd incorrectly paved road/street.

Will definitely take the 40 on the way back to Dallas, TX.

So what is so special about little cheesy paintings of aliens? It’s eccentric. It’s still fun to see. The UFO museum was closed by the time I was ready to go to it. Arrived in town 4pm. Got done and headed out 4:30. Saw a museum sign and went it. It was the Roswell Arts Museum or some such. Not the UFO museum. By the time got out, it was closed.

So will post some pictures later.
